The vegan lifestyle is one way I can live a life without cruelty, and full of positive energy.

It just goes to show how being vegan does not mean eating boring vegetables and fruit.

Keep calm, carry on

The world is a cruel place.
We live on a beautiful planet, but the people can be mean and hateful.
Society likes failure, and makes it hard for anyone to triumphant, especially women.

This just means we have to be even more confident and determined.
And it feels that much better when we do succeed.

Dancing party for 1

They say laughter is the best medicine. Of course I love to laugh, which is obvious from my nonsense, giggly poems at Opened Window. 
But I really love to dance.
I dance while choosing what to wear, while making dinner, cleaning... hell I would dance to school if I wasn't always running late.
For me, dancing comes from the soul.
It is feeling the energy, and letting it flow through you.

I had a day off today, and good thing my roomate is home for the weekend.
I have been blaring the tunes and dancing all day long.
If you haven't danced today, now is your chance! It does the body good !

Emma Love

Last weekend I enjoyed a lovely morning with my good friend, Emma Liut.
I photographed her around downtown for her blog.
She is applying for a MasterCard internship, so the theme of the photos were red and yellow.
I am planning on uploading some of the shots on my flickr.

So let's dance while we're waiting

I just downloaded Lykke Li 's new album.
It is quite lovely.
This song is one of my favorites.

I'm really hoping she makes a video for it.

Art is meant to evoke emotion. Sometimes it carries a message.
And sometimes it hits you in the face.
Living near a sketchy neighborhood and a busy street,, I hear sirens at least every few hours. I am now used to them, but some days it really unsettles me.
